Hotel Guest Reviews of the South Seas Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 15, 2013

i would avoid this place. i am not using priceline again. i checked out early even though i had to pay priceline for the extra day. it is not worth arguing about. this is the second time that i have had misrepresented hotels on price line...

After checking in and leaving our luggage in the room, me and my wife went for a walk. When coming back to the room, we found a passed out drunk guy in the room, with our luggage in there. Apparently nothing is missing. The explanation we got from the hotel is that they messed up the reservation, because the drunk guest had the same first name as mine.

We were only here for one night during Spring Break. Wish we could have stayed longer. Arrived very early in the morning after getting off a cruise much sooner than expected. We weren't able to check in right away, but the hotel staff was very helpful. We were able to eat breakfast at the buffet and swim and lounge by the pool while waiting for our room. Our room was prepared early so we could check in and get the rest of our day started. The rooms are simple, but clean and nice. The pool area is great. Really relaxing. Choice of sun and shade. The hotel has a nice little area with hammocks and sand, and of course is just a few steps off the beach. We visited some friends at a "luxury" hotel down the street, and I left feeling really happy we stayed where we did. This hotel is a great find for the price. ...

The hotel was created in 1930's and still looks like it. The hallways are long and seem unsafe wondering alone for ice. The floors and seats in the room were stained. My view was the garbage in the alley way which was picked up at 6am! Because if this experience I will never again use price bid on Priceline. This by far is NOT a 3 star hotel, not sure how they qualify that.
