Springhill Suites By Marriott Miami Airport South

Good place to stay overnight for convenience to airport (with free shuttle service to/from hotel every 30 minutes, free wifi, and complimentary breakfast). Accommodation was comfortable and clean.

Reasonably priced, great clean rooms and from I could tell the maids cleaned it daily, even folded my dirty clothes for me. Hah. That was a big shock to me.

The hotel needs updating since carpeting and furniture are somewhat run down. The AC vents were fixed and directed to the first bed, making it very cold to sleep. It was so cold that we could not use this bed. The plumbing was faulty resulting in standing water both in the sink and bathtub after use. Eventhough we alerted the hotel of this problem it was not fixed.

The rooms were spacious and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. The suite was generally clean, except for the bathroom - their was hair in numerous places on the floor. It would have been nice to have a restaurant (or even fast food) nearby but we were able to buy (expensive) food from their little food pantry shop. This was a nice hotel to stay at. It was attractive, room was spacious, close to the airport, and the staff was friendly. The location felt safe conmpared and accomidations much better than a 2 star I stayed at on the North side of the airport a few days before and paid much more for. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy to get to from the airport. Close to restaurants which the shuttle will drop you to and from. Our rooms (4) surrounded the elevator but we never heard a thing. Everything was in good shape and the staff was very helpful in recommending a place to eat. (La Rosa was a very memorable dining experience). The billing was straightforward. Very nice rooms. We enjoyed our stay. The price was good and the location was not too out of the way. Property was clean and the room was large and attractive. Free parking.
