Family Traveling with Young Children
This hotel is not close to the airport or other Houston area major visitor sites. Our drive to the airport was at least 45 min., and we left early to avoid traffic jams. Because of rush hour traffic, it took longer to get back. Everything else we planned was easy to reach. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast options, and wonderful service throughout---ah-h-h-h! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit the area. ...

Nice location - fair price - front desk staff over the top accomodating including the head housekeeper. An older property with a recent updating which is very attractive and attempts to catch the theme of the newer Springhill Suite hotels. Basically the rooms must have an inherent musty odor that housekeeping tries to mask with extreme Febreze or similar room deodorizer - to the point of causing 'dizziness'. Desk manager and housekeeping showed us other rooms but they all were over-scented or musty. Kept the original room and enjoyed the 'natural high' on the deodorizer. A/C is great, room and hallways clean, beds really comfortable. Will stay again but do a sniff test before accepting room. ...
