Hotel Guest Reviews of the Springhill Suites Portland Airport
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Their breakfast buffet is amazing - great variety and everything immaculate and inviting. It's one of the best things about this place. I also like the rooms. There was a stain on the floor outside the bathroom this time, which was not great, but otherwise, this hotel is my favorite in Portland. Also like that it's right near the airport, since renting a car and driving to a hotel late at night should not be difficult. ...

This hotel was very convenient in respect to its location. The shuttle even took us to the train station and picked us up which was very unexpected. The breakfast was very good; they had something for every appetite. I think the best thing about the hotel is it's staff, very accommodating as well as plesant.

Overall, its a nice hotel. Clean and comfortable with basic amenities. The front desk staff, although not very chipper looking folks, were all very pleasant. We stayed during a weekend and the hotel was extremely crowded, with many children. The pool was crowded with kids making it uninviting as was the breakfast area in the mornings. The breakfast area staff seemed to move very slowly, standing around talking amongst themselves (in Spanish) and didn't seem to care if they were in your way while they took their time refilling coffee condiments, etc.. Not very professional. Parking was limited although they you allowed to use the parking lot for the adjacent hotel, but that lot was also packed. We were forced both nights, to park on the backside of the building, which was not lighted. For the price, which I felt was a good deal, I would stay here again, probably not on a weekend though. ...
