Hotel Guest Reviews of the Stamford Plaza Melbourne
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 20, 2013

The hotel present very sizeable rooms. However, if checked in, would strongly recommend you request the highest floor possible from the reception. If you need to buy bottle water, walk one block up for the 7-Eleven, where water is significantly cheaper than the convenience store across the street. Hotel breakfast and dinner is good; keep in mind, service is only available when large tour groups are staying at the hotel. ...

In no way did I expect such a fabulous hotel like this for the price I was awarded. I am local, and did not even know this hotel existed. Such a fabulous arrangement of the rooms, and definitely a 5 star. Especially in Australia...they are few and far between!

A very nice hotel in a great spot in Melbourne. The rooms are suites and although not huge are very comfortable. The Hotel has a well priced bar and all the trimmings you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Paid $135 for the night but the time you add parking, internet etc it creeps up

A sign as you enter says something along the lines of your home away from home and that is exactly how it felt. The hotel is a little dated but I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice and the service was fantastic. It is very well located in the CBD.

Great hotel to stay at the low Priceline price, but not at the full price.

A comfortable suite, courteous and helpful staff, especially the concierge. Not all desk staff fully trained, which added some confusion at times, but they eventually referred me to a trained person. Did not eat there, menu too expensive. Continental Breakfast $27.00. Bathroom comfortable, but could not fully close shower door as the shower head got in the way.

It's a great place to stay. This is an all suite hotel so there rooms are not rooms but a living room plus a kitchen plus a bedroom, plenty of space. The rooms are nicely appointed

The room at the Stamford was as luxurious as one could ask for. Not large, but very well appointed and comfortable.

It is in the heart of Central Milbourne City which make possible to go to many places of interest just walking short distances.
