Staybridge Suites Bentonville - Rogers

Everything was flawless about this location, except for one thing. When booking through priceline I chose a "double" upon arrival I was give a room with a single bed and a fold out couch. At first, I thought it was a mistake and went and told the clerk. She informed me that was considered a double. When I told her that I had never reserved a double and only found one bed and a pull out couch, she told me that it was a "known issue" and that she agreed with me. If it had been a decent pull out that had plenty of padding, I might have not worried about it. However, I am 6'1" and when I got on the pullout mattress, all I could feel was metal bars. Not what you want to feel after riding a motorcycle 300 miles. The clerk was very friendly, but she stated they had no more "true doubles." Even though this was not my mistake and I had done nothing in error, I agreed to pay for another room at 1/2 of what I had paid for the first room. She could not authorize this, so she called her manager and all the manager agreed to do was take off $10 from the second room. Unacceptable, I finally had to get the General Manager on the line and he agreed to meet me half way and I finally got the second room at half price. I still do not feel that I should have had to purchase anything! I reserved a double and should have got a double. Other than this one issue, the hotel was PERFECTION!!! This hotel was in a great location. It met all of our needs and then some.

The rooms were clean and well furnished. The kitchenette was clean and functional.

I was pleasantly surprised on check-in to discover a beautiful lobby, friendly, helpful staff, and a beautiful, convenient room to stay in! The evening social hour was a nice touch. We did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfasts but appreciated their availability.
