Hotel Guest Reviews of the Staybridge Suites Ft. Lauderdale-Plantation
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

It was close to major stores, restaurants and highways. Nice breakfast included and no charge for parking like other hotels.

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel and grounds were well maintained. The breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold items. Over-all we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone. We had booked 3 rooms. However, we called a month in advance to request rooms with 2 beds in each room. We were told it would be no problem, as they had plenty of rooms and the staff member proceeded to change our rooms to doubles. On arrival we were informed they were almost full had no record of the change. No apologies. This Staybridge is not up to the standards of other StayBridge Inns I have stayed in, but it is very clean and comfortable. ...

The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and having a full kitchen was great. This is the second hotel I booked through Priceline, and once again we were given a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was considered 1 bed. My group consisted of myself (adult female) and my adult - pregnant daughter. The hotel staff admitted that we were given this room because we booked through Priceline. Staff member said if we had booked through the hotel's web site, we would have been given a room with 2 queen beds.
So my experience has been if you book through Priceline and want 2 REAL beds, then perhaps you should rethink using Priceline and book a room directly through the hotel. I booked 2 different rooms at 2 different hotels and each hotel considered their pull out sofa bed as a bed - and both hotels admitted it was because I booked the rooms through Priceline that I was given a pull out sofa bed as the second bed. ...

I certainly would advise anyone who planned to stay in this area to stay at these Suites. It was near a beautiful golf course and would be a great place for family and friends to spend time together doing the things they love.
