Staybridge Suites West Des Moines

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for cleanliness and the smell was terrible (pets). From this experience, I spoke to the hotel worker when we left and told him our disappointment, but he didn't say one thing back to me.

The suite that I stayed in was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen and bed were extremely nice. However the bathroom and TV were very old for the room which I was surprised about due to the price of the room. While it is nice to have the ability to cook your own food, I feel that it doesn't negate the need for some room service options.

The hotel is easily accessible from the Interstate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were assigned a smoking room, and the front desk allowed me to preview the room to make sure it was okay. She also offered two other rooms if the first one was too smoky (it wasn't). We had a King Suite with a full kitchen which was nice, but it kind of cut into the living area which was fairly small but workable. This was a very comfortable suite and very large! The bedroom area had two double beds and the living area and kitchen were very clean. The bathroom was small, but clean. We requested a non-smoking room with a view of the pond and this is exactly what we got. Despite having to wait one hour past check in time to get our room, it was worth it. We would gladly stay again.

Beautiful rooms!

This hotel is great for the business traveler or family. The continental breakfast was great; hot, plenty of choices and plenty of seating. The pool was clean and well stocked with towels and the staff was very pleasant to work with. Great location off a major interstate intersection.

The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable, room attractive, beautiful surroundings and the staff was very helpful in giving directions when approached.
