Hotel Guest Reviews of the Stone Mountain Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location inside of the park was very cool.
Having to pay to enter the park should have been notified beforehand. There were gnats flying all in the room all weekend. The room was very small!! No room service was available.

Nice location, but dirty and small rooms!

Great location in Stone Mt Park.
The room was a lot smaller than I expected and from what the picture on the website showed. The sliding glass door was so poorly insulated that the wall unit providing heat ran constantly. The television was a throwback to the 80s.

The room was very clean and well decorated but was smaller than I expected-the picture on the website showed a couch between the bed and the sliding glass door, but that was not possible in the room we were assigned. The television was not far from being Smithsonian eligible with a very low tech remote and no indication of what channel you were watching and we did not find a channel guide in the room. The central area of the hotel is landscaped beautifully and I hope to be able to see it when everything is in bloom (our stay was in mid Feb). The breakfast buffet was very nice; the dinner buffet was very average and I would not recommend it although service at both was prompt and thorough. We dined at the restaurant co-located at the golf course on the other side of the lake and it was very reasonable and the food was good. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. We will try to stay at the Evergreen on our next trip, but if it is not available the Stone Mountain Inn will be an acceptable alternate. ...read more

The rooms are large and the location cannot be beat. It is directly across the street from Stone Moutain.
Outdated Decor, Ancient Television, Bedding was cheap and rough. They wanted $13.00 for Wifi Access.

If you want to be close to Stone Mountain, then this is the place to stay. if you want modern, stylish accommodations with acces to the Internet, then keep looking.

The best thing this hotel has going for it is the front desk staff and the outside scenery.
The star rating is off for this hotel. Priceline doesn't seem to care. If you bid on a hotel, expect to get anything, even out of the star range you're bidding on. The rooms were ridiculously outdated. Mattresses were not so comfortable.

Disappointing for a MARRIOTT? Wasn't particularly impressed with this hotel. It was off the beaten path and you have to pay an extra $10 when you get there to even get into the park to get to your hotel, so consider this in the price. I guess if you want to go to Stone Mountain Park, it's convenient, but there's other hotels in the area that are nicer for about the same price. The rooms are ridiculously outdated. The beds are hard. It's an outdoor hotel, so you may have bugs that crawl on in. (This is Georgia, after all.)And if you're bidding on a hotel and taking the chance, you're going to get something that is most likely not what you expect for the star rating - and not in a good way. I've used Priceline a few times and it's always the same - a disappointment. That's it. No more. Just look for yourself and get what YOU pick. It's worth the couple extra bucks. Also, Priceline DOES NOT/WILL NOT work with you to change it... no IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS ABOUT IT! Bottom line on this hotel: While the front desk staff were very nice, the rooms weren't so impressive... and this hotel should not have been classified at the level it was. If it had a serious revamp, maybe it would deserve a second chance. ...read more

Everyone was super nice and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Will go back again.
Only concern was the sliding glass doors were not as well securable as we would have liked.

We went for snow days and will come again. It was an awesome experience!

Great family friendly hotel, walking distance to fun kid activity.
Power lines down, roads blocked, finally got to hotel after 3 hrs waiting. No staff w/lights or assistance to get kids & disabled mother inside.

Standard hotel, clean. Friendly staff. Close to family attractions & Atlanta.

Loved the third floor porch off of our room, perfect for Santa Fe's weather!
Heart fee, I felt it was unnecessary, as these things should've been covered in the hotel fee.

We spent two nights here with our five y.o. Had a great time, downtown just a short walk away. We were upgraded to a junior suite because they were overbooked.
