The hotel is located right along route 108 which was nice as it was out of the town of Stowe so it was quiet and would have been much closer to the skiing areas had it been the right time of the year for skiing. They have an absolutely world class spa on site.

Family Traveling with Young Children
Great location half way up Mountain Road to Stowe. Stayed in the luxury room, which was very nice with a fireplace. Nice bathroom amenities, shampoo, etc. Indoor pool was nice and warm with a huge fitness center that has everything for working out. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I would not choose to stay at this hotel again and would not pay full price to stay there.

Not keeping up a 4 star experience. Facilities were not in working order when we arrived. Hot tub out of order, outdoor heated pool freezing, indoor pool small and full. No invitation to use spa hot tub as compensation. Rather like a chain hotel, good people, clean room, did not stand out overall.
Appreciated the fridge.

The Stowe Flake is a beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The spa was a wonderful experience. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The pool area is relaxing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and again.
