The Strawberry Inn Was closed for repairs & we were directed to stay at the Woodsman Hotel. It was "OK" but I wouldn't go back there. Poor lighting & it was either too hot or too cold in the room. I was happy to leave.

The hotel was not ready to receive guests. We tried to check in at 4 PM and was asked to come back later to check in due to computer problems. We were assured we had a reservation and that our room was clean. We checked in at 9:30pm and when we entered our room the room was dirty. There were dirty towels left on the bathroom counter. opened soap and used soap left on counter. The bed looked like the maid just pulled the blankets up and did not make the bed. The room smelled like heavy disinfectant. Went to front office and had informed the girl at the front desk that the room was dirty & this is unacceptable and was given another room. The next room was not that much better. We were going to stay two nights, but the accommodations we had were terrible, so we canceled our second night. The owner refunded our second night with no problem. Totally disappointed.

We were cozy the entire time we were in the hotel. The bed was amazing. Every time we laid down we just melted. Plus our room felt more like a cottage and less of a boring hotel feel which was just what we looking for.

We liked everything until we could not get warm, and I could not put on my makeup without getting dripped on by the condensation from our showers that dripped from the skylite in both rooms.
