Family Traveling with Teens
Good location, friendly staff, large rooms, though it is a dated hotel. Bathroom had tile that needs replaced (holes, worn out), but for the price, and the fact we were only in the room to sleep, not a big deal for me. Overall pleased with the stay.

This room was good for a one night stop before going to Big Bend NP. It was very big with a sofa and king size bed. The bathroom was just plain worn out. The price was acceptable. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast was not worth going to.

We went to Alpine TX for a short get-away and with limited funds.The Sunday House gave us the expected accommodations at a reasonable price. That gave us greater latitude to enjoy the sites in Alpine. We checked the other bed/breakfast in and around the area. We found them expensive and compromising with respect to parking, bathrooms, privacy, wi-fi, and television in the rooms. ...

Perhaps this is one of the hotels purchased by 3rd world persons. ( We experienced this in Van Horne,Tx at the Knight's Inn.)Everything about it screamed no concern for keeping the place updated with repairs. The bath tub was actually peeling inside along with a bathroom floor that was sagging with the linoleum cracked and proofing up so as to see the floor boards. The stairs to the 2nd floor were rusted and appeared unsafe. The sleeping area was poorly furnished cheap. Lighting was poor as well. Never will we depend upon your recommendations. ...
