We began having difficulty before we arrived. The hotel does not make any mention of fees for pets. When we called they said they would charge $10 per pet, per day. When we arrived they charged $11.30 per pet, per day, to be paid before we could check-in. They gave us the worst possible room, across the hall from the meeting / banquet hall, beside the industrial laundry area for the hotel. When we asked to be moved we were told there were no other rooms of this level available. We offered to pay any difference in price and were again refused. We were told that the owner would not allow the employees to make any changes. It was a very uncomfortable, noisy week.

The Super 8 Hotel in Ajax was very suitable for our leisure /overnight stay. Pleasant and helpful staff --very accommodating. The price was very reasonable and there was no problem adding 2 guests who ended up accompanying us on our trip. That was much appreciated. We would stay there again if we ever travel to that area at a later date.

I always stay at a hotel based on whether it has a pool or not as I enjoy a swim after a long drive. I was extremely disappointed in the facilities at this hotel as the temperature of the pool was intolerably cold and I could not even get in the pool let alone enjoy a swim. Also the room the pool was in did not seem to be heated as the air was very cold as well. Would not stay here again. ...
