Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Eureka

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Proximity to Six Flags.
No 2 bed rooms available after calling to request my 2 rooms to each have 2 beds. No rollaways available either? Pool was not open, now after Memorial Day. Stay in general not comfortable and a real disappointment .

If you only need 1 bed, you'll probably be ok. I was definitely told that because I used a 3rd party to book my room, I wasn't getting 2 beds for either of the rooms I booked, not at that rate. Again, no rollaways available either? This is a 1 Star hotel, and you do get what you pay for. Thankfully the stay was just overnight!

The location was great!

A little bit of renovation would make this motel shine! It has a great location, but is in need of some TLC. Overall, it was a great price for a night's stay.

The best part about this hotel is its location.
Bugs in my room, hadn't been cleaned in what seemed like months, bathroom was disgusting, door didn't lock (safety!!!), staff was not friendly, way overly priced!!!!

I grew up in this town and my standards are pretty lax as I know the area and the people. I did not expect the Ritz for sure. I came in town for a wedding but had to extend my stay also for a funeral. When I arrived the front lobby staff did not tell me any information about the hotel like amenities such as password for wi-fi, breakfast times, check-out, etc. Just was all about getting my money and going back to talking on the phone. When I got to my room my door barely shut and had no locks besides the basic hotel card key. My window was at ground level and also had to security lock and could be easily opened as there was no scree... This was actually tested by my brother. There was a dead bug in the bathroom, one under the sink and one by the ac unit (which I later found was not dead as it disappeared). I ran my hand along the the dresser and found a nice layer of dust which means my room hadn't been cleaned probably since last fall. The tub in my bathroom was so used and abused that you could see the metal and had dirty all over the bottom. The towels smelt and were so thin and small that I tried not to shower as long as I could. When I went to get in bed I pulled back the covers and was horrified to find my blank to look soiled!!!! Spots all over it! My brother convinced me to stay one night as we were on at tight budget so I tried. In the morning I got up and noticed that the sun was shining through the curtains which had holes are over them! I had not wanted to stay so I went to the front desk and complained and asked to check out but was refused because you must have 24 hour notice and you are made to pay in full at time of check in. So I had to stay my mom was checking in that day too and surprise surprise her room was just the same as mine. Disgusting! So disappointed and when I got home I showered in the hottest shower I could! ...read more

The location is great, very close to Six Flags. I was almost scared off by other reviews, but those people were obviously way more than they were willing to pay for. The rooms are average but they're clean and the staff is very polite and helpful.
It was fine.

This hotel is conveniently located to Six Flags and there are restaurants within walking distance, there's even a decent roast beef place located next door. No complaints.

Quite disappointed with the fact that we signed up for 4 people to be in the room and then when we got there, we had to pay for 2 extra people. It was NOT our fault, or even really the motel's fault. Price line is at fault.

Proximity to 6 flags.
WiFi was buggy, and room reeked of cigarettes, though it was a smoking room, so that was expected.
