Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Humboldt
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 19, 2011

This hotel is fine for a very short visit. For a suite, however, the room was very poor. The light in the bathroom with the vent turned on and off on its own all day and night, the microwave that came with most rooms did not work, and there was a broken light on the far end of the room next to a spare bed that was being used (made for a very dark corner). When hotel staff was informed of the issues upon checking out, they seemed disinterested and neglected to give us our receipt. If you need to stay at a hotel in this area, stay in Fort Dodge.

Humboldt's super 8 was a nice surprise. The room was small, but very comfortable and exceptionally clean. There were no amenities (health facilities, restaurant etc.) But I didn't expect them. Wireless internet wasn't listed on the room description so it was an unexpected plus.

Easy location with 2 highways nearby, close to several small towns, well insulated and quiet. Overall kudos on cleanliness.
