I did not get the room I reserved. I reserved a non smoking room with two beds, I got nether.

The hotel was disgusting, run down, staff was rude!!!

YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR SOURCES! THIS WAS VERY POOR, SCARY, SHADY PEOPLE STANDING IN THE PARKING LOT,THE STAFF DID NOT LOOK OR DRESS PROFESSIONAL, DID NOT KNOW THEIR JOB VERY WELL! WHEN WE CALLED AND TOLD FRONT DESK THAT HEATER WAS NOT WORKING, INSTEAD OF MAINTENANCE MAN TO COME AND CHECK IT OUT IT WAS THE FRONT DESK CLERK, WHICH HE WAS CHECKING OUT WHAT WE HAD IN THE ROOM. NOW I'M NOT SAYING HE WOULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING BUT IT FELT VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL! POOL DID NOT WORK, SMELLED LIKE TOO MUCH CHLORINE WAS IN IT. THEY ARE NOT A SUPER 8. WHEN WE FOUND ANOTHER SUPER 8 IN PLATTE CITY, MISSOURI, THE CLERK ALERTED US THAT THE MOTEL IN LEAVENWORTH, KANSAS WAS CLOSED DOWN AND NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DOING BUSINESS. THE SUPER 8 IN PLATTE CITY WAS WONDERFUL! CLEAN,HELPFUL,POOL WORKING. I WANT MY $$$$$$ BACK FOR THE MOTEL IN LEAVENWORTH! DO I NEED TO GO ON??? This hotel was worth $29. It was scummy. I ended up taking my clothes out of my suit case and sleeping on them. I would have slept in my car instead, but I did not think it would be safe. Staff was not friendly. Most of the electrical didn't work including, coffee maker, lamps, and alarm clock. Additionally, the toilet didn't flush properly. The bed was hard as a rock, mattress old and dirty. The property smelled, and even worst, the pillows smelled of dirty scalp. This hotel is not somewhere I would ever stay again.

Total garbage, bad people, bad management, should not be allowed to conduct business. Tried to limit towels to 3 per day. Just all around cheap and cheezy rip offs!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, based on the poor quality of the public facilities, i.e., the hot tub was broken, and the pool was advertised as heated, but was, in fact, ice cold, the pool room was hotter than outside, there were bugs in the pool, and the hot tub, there were hypodermic needles in the parking lot all 3 days we were there, the staff was not knowledgeable enough about the area, and didn't follow up on requests that were made.
