Super 8 Motel - Bartlesville

Courteous, clean, efficient.

Our first room was full of ants, the second room left something to be desired as far as cleanness, considering the stains in the bathtub. The lobby was to small to accommodate a cont. breakfast,so decided to take coffee and muffins, for me and the wife, back to the room, the desk clerk, stood not 5' away and watch me struggle with 2 doors and never offered to help. Overall I thought the hotel was clean and neat and it actually exceeded my expectations. Management was very friendly and accommodating when
I need to extend my checkout by an hour. A very pleasant experience!

The hotel was close to restaurants and fast food. It was easy access, in and out. Working class people and travelers stayed. It was full almost every night. I felt secure for my vehicle and my personal comfort and security.

I was very disappointed by the smell of the room when we arrived and the worn out decor and fixtures. It was good we did not spend too much time in our room. The continental breakfast area was small but the staff was very kind and hospitable.

Everything was fine, except for the tub. Our phone did not work, but the receptionist made several attempts to get it to work, and ended up having to contact the phone company the following day. It was not a big thing for me, as I had my cell phone.

The sheets were stained and dirty. The room was not clean at all. I will never ever go back.

The room we got was fine for what we used it for - a place to sleep. If we had wanted a romantic vacation where we hardly ever left the room, we would have been sorely disappointed. Also, the Jacuzzi was not really a Jacuzzi. It was a bathtub with 2 jets.
