Probably the best thing was the price. It was clean. The staff was nice but quite young and seemed a bit inexperienced. I guess you have to start somewhere. Breakfast was okay.
The facility was a a bit worn and shabby looking. I was a little nervous when we first went in but and definitely checked for bedbugs (really should do that everywhere!!).

Overall my experience was fine. The room was clean and it met our needs. Definitely not fancy but for the price it was adequate. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet so I slept well.

The staff.

Hotel is generally not clean. Most of the staff do not speak English. Staff have their kids running around everywhere. Tiny Bathrooms.

Hotel lobby was very dirty- the doorknob to the lobby was so dirty I did not want to touch it. The room and hallway smelled.

This hotel was a disappointment. The lobby was dirty, the exterior door and doorknob were so dirty I did not want to touch them. The smoke alarm in my room was hanging by two cords. The parking lot was very dark. There have been obvious efforts to remodel this property; however, there needs to be more effort spent on the details and on overall cleanliness.

The staff was outstanding in their helpfulness. Extremely helpful.
Kinda dingy, but the evening staff made it a more than tolerable experience.

A
dirty, little super 8 in a small Iowa town that does nothing to help bolster the image of "sleepy little town" with - for us - an evening staff who went way out of their way to make our stay more - much more - pleasant than we had any reason to expect. These folks are to be singled out for commendations for their kindness and creative helpfulness.
