Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Motel Toronto North Vaughan

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty basic with toast, bagels, coffee etc. The location was good and the parking lot was easy to get in and out of.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had difficult accessing the internet in our room. There was a pool and breakfast included, although we did eat there we did not use the pool facilities. We would stay there again.

The staff were incredibly nice. My room was cleaned everyday.
The room was very outdated. The only modern up-to-date piece was the flat screen tv. Everything else could use some major modifications. The refrigerator was really small. The heat was not controlled by a thermostat so when I turned it on, it stayed on un

I did enjoy being close to all amenities and 10 minutes from Vaughan Mills.

The friendly service, brochures available to order in to the hotel(pizza). Pool and hot tub.
Hot tub wasn't hot, pool slide was never open, noisy guests woke us up at 2:30am and hairdryer broken. Also bathroom outlet did not work either.

I would have to say that the bad out weighed the good. We loved that we could order in pizza and the idea of swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub were great however the hot tub was more of a warm bath and two other sets of guests said the same while we were there so it was not just our opinion. There was a water slide into the pool however there was never a life guard to run it or even 'hours' for the slide posted anywhere in the pool area. why have a slide if your not able to use it?! also the pool and hot tub were concrete and had that terrible smell and uncomfortable to it. We were waken up by loud shouting in the hallway at 2:30 am which was not favorable of course. We were offered a cheaper stay by the hotel front desk to compensate for this inconvenience. I enjoy the breakfast selection but worry about the number of guests that will fit in the dinning area at once. It was well managed, a worker was in quite often keeping the breakfast bar clean and well stocked, for this I was impressed.

Kids loved the pool slide, morning staff excellent.
Night staff was rude. Pool opens only at 10 am, no time for kids to swim before checkout, beds were very springy.

I feel the price was high for the comfort of the beds. Not much around to do, at least a 10 min drive to find restaurants. Night staff should be retrained in hospitality. The only reason I would return to this hotel would be the pool slide. Kids has so much fun. We were only able to use it for 1 hr in the morning because of a late check in. The pool should be open for 7 am so that early morning swims are available. ...read more

Convenient location to Wonderland.
The all-wheat breakfast with no healthy choices.

I liked the location.
The service received was not the best and far from it. Even when addressing our concerns, they were ignored.

Service from the front desk is undesirable. The slide in the pool is dangerous. There should be a height maximum. The pool is too small for that slide. The lifeguard (I have no clue if he is certified) was no help. Reading his book on a chair in a corner.
