Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Motel Woodburn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 9, 2013

Pros: Friendly staff, quick check in and check out, freebie breakfast (cereal, juice, packaged cinnamon buns, toast and waffles, very old fruit), close to I-5 highway and Woodburn outlet mall. Cons: Housekeeping did not change sheets (and you could tell), old furniture and carpets, paper thin walls (I woke up to the sound of a phone vibrating in a neighbouring room), noisy, found a medium sized spider my first night, very uncomfortable beds. I stayed at this establishment two nights since i was attending an event in Corvallis and also wanted to do some shopping at the Woodburn outlet mall, which is located two minutes from this motel. Overall, I like to be comfortable when I travel and this motel just did not cut it. You can tell that they are trying in the curved shower rod upgrades and decor makeovers, but even though the furniture and linens were modern they are poor quality and wind up looking old and dingy since they cannot stand up to the wear and tear of use - the sheets had bleach stains/burns, the fiberboard tv stand and night table were scratched and scuffed, and the executive chair fabric was ripped in a couple spots. The beds were creaky and worn out, and we found hair all over the room: in the bed, on a chair, and tucked into one of our towels one morning. I cannot say that I will recommend this motel to my friends, nor will I stay here again. I will try the nearby Best Western next time. ...

Cleanliness is number 1 though even at 2 star hotel. Hotel rate is competitive in a location near where everything is walking distance. Indoor hot pool is one of kind in the location. Kids love it very much. 3 days is not enough for a shopping trip.

The hotel room was reasonable for the price, however starting at 9 in the morning, we had 3 maids knock at our door to clean and 1/2 an hour before checkout the front desk called us to see when we were checking out.

Should not be ranked the same as the La Quinta or Best Western (new) at this same intersection.

I'd recommend the Super8 to racers traveling to Woodburn Drag strip. The rooms were clean and in good condition and I got a great deal booking it through Priceline.

lot of people, pool was so full there was not a lot of room to swim.
The hotel was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly, check in was effortless, a good stay for two days all around.
