Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Toronto

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It is very convenient to a lot of places. We walked everywhere. Great eats. We were right in the heart of Chinatown and Kingston.
The sofa was a bit tattered. We accidentally turned on the heater and an awful stench permeated the room and was a bit unbearable.

The hotel is a great location to a lot of downtown locations. The great eats outside the hotel was a huge plus. We did not care for the free breakfast. The fresh fruits looked aged and dried. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby to the elevator needs cleaning and airing out; it is very stuffy and dusty.

Location was in the center of China town. View of the CN Tower.
Noisy air conditioner, slow shower drain.

Hotel is not worth it at the regular price. Run down and in need of renovation. Location was good.

Interesting location in Toronto China Town
Horrible customer service.

Horrible experience. We rented two rooms. one for me and my wife (8510) and one for my two teenage children (8503). In our room, there was no internet service. when we asked the staff, they did not care. they ignored our questions. also our window was right next to major electric generators. These generators were very noisy all night and we did not have good sleep because of that. again, the staff ignored our complants about this major problem. There was no AC service in hallways and some other public areas eventhough it was outside temperature was more than 100 degrees at some point. The breakfast was very poor and there was no healthy items such as fruits or yogurt. Overall, it was a horrible experience. ...read more

I really like the size of the room, the microwave and the little fridge.
Wireless Internet was useless, couldn't get a strong enough signal. Air conditioning throughout the hotel was not effective.

I love the Downtown, central location as well as the very interesting little Chinese Mall that is in the same building. Lots of fun things to check out and for reasonable prices. The spa staff are very friendly, efficient and the prices are super reasonable. I have never paid less. The parking garage is a bit tricky to move around in, but again the prices are pretty fair when compared with other hotels in the same region of the city. We will definitely stay again. ...read more

I had to argue quite a bit to get the free parking that was listed in my Priceline confirmation..... Front desk staff after quite a bit of discussion

Front desk staff after quite a bit of discussion I was told that the hotel would pay for us to park once but if we left that night at all we would have to pay the second time. On my Priceline reservation it states free parking not 1 time parking!!!! I hjad to complain again in the morning quite a bit and they finially paid for my parking.... This is something that I should not have had to do as the reservation says FREE PARKING! ...read more

Within walking distance of interesting places in Toronto.
Free wireless Internet did not work.

Overall, it was reasonable for the price. The location was close to interesting shops and restaurants in ChinaTown and Kensington Market and Eaton Center. Nothing fancy. The desk seemed understaffed, most often had to wait for help. They were doing the best they could. The wireless Internet which I was counting on didn't work. The breakfast was minimal: bagels, cereal, nothing hot. Parking was convenient but cost $19/day. ...read more

Great location, lots of stores around, and friendly staff.
Not a lot of natural light in room.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, free Internet, and reasonable parking.
