Hotel Guest Reviews of the Super 8 Watertown/Cambridge/Boston Area

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nothing, in adequate parking. Parked in lot next to hotel, which appers to be owned by hotel. Had my vechicle towed. Staff was rude, didn't even offer to call a cab for us, ended up walking 4 miles to towing facility. When I asked the hotel staff if they
told people about the parking, they said no. The toyota dealership that actually owns the lot, stated that hotel guest's get towed frequently and they have asked the staff to inform people of this.

When I called to askt to talk to a manager, I was told there was none, I then asked if they had a costumer service number and was told no. Found the costumer service number on my own. My tow bill cost more than the hotel room. ...read more

The room was good but it did not have an iron or ironing board.

A good price for the money but a little difficult to find. Maybe my GPS was off:)

For the star quality and price, I was surprised that it offered a free continental breakfast.
Very small and not very clean smelling. Kinda smelled cigarette smoke when we walked inside.

The hotel was a place to sleep/shower for a night at a reasonable price. They also gave a free continental breakfast. It wasn't much to look at, but served the purpose. Seemed to be in a safe enough area on the outskirts of the city. I would stay there again, if I couldn't find any place reasonable closer to the college where my son attends.

Met all the basic needs in a reasonably quiet and clean environment.
No elevator. TV hard to operate and not many free TV channel selections.

Staff was accommodating. Gave me extra pillows. Continental breakfast good, but not enough space for guests to eat in the lobby area. Safe and adequate parking garage.

I`m sorry, I can't think of a thing. It should be condemned!
I walked into a dookie sitting in the bowl and garbage, including a face cloth, in the bathroom garbage. Oh did I mention pubes!

The most unsanitary unkept rooms imaginable. The walls and floors had food and other debris everywhere. The chair in the room had several years worth of garbage under the cushion. There was fossilized McDonald`s hamburgers sitting between the mightstad and bed being eaten by ants. A good selection of cherry pits and peanuts as well. There were public hairs on and under the sheets. Hair all over the bathroom walls and floors. And yes, it`s true, a dookie in the bowl to greet me. Someone, who knows who, had broken the toilet bowl seal, cranked out a "dookie" and left it there for posterity. ...read more

Great price and location. Clean, nice variety of food for breakfast. Enough parking spaces.
Not senior or handicap friendly (no elevator). The plastic flush thing on the toilet was broken, but we could still get the toilet to flush.

It was situated halfway between Boston Amtrak and my niece's home that I was visiting.
Horrible lobby. Cheezy looking. Horrid value for the money. Dated. Borderline slumish.

Unfortunately, this was the only game in town, someplace to stay halfway between Boston and Waltham. My room was clean but hopelessly outdated decor/furnishings/carpet. There is nothing charm wise to say about this facility. It was a place to flop for two nights.

Cheap soda, short walk to bus connection to the city, and friendly staff.
Controller for TV was too confused.

The right place for some days near Boston with good connection to the city. Our expectations fits to the two hotel stars. Like to come again.

Location: Only a few minutes away from Downtown Boston.
There was a good size gap at the bottom of the door.

If you are looking for a place for an overnight stay and do care about how it looks, this place will do. The gentleman at the desk was a bit rude. Saw him yell at a customer.
