Hotel Guest Reviews of the Tahoe Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 20, 2013

Pros: VERY dog friendly! Would stay there just because of this. They gave us a 1st floor room, in the back so it was easy to take the dog out for a walk. Easy to park around the area. Close to the parks, shopping, and food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cons: only had a small wall heater for heat, worked ok though. Didn't see any A/C controls, just a floor fan in the closet. General: This is not a fancy hotel, just a good, clean place to crash for the night. Will probably stay again as it is very dog friendly. ...

Nice people at the front desk. Room decor is mid 40's at the latest. Linens are nasty and don't look under the bed, about two inches of collected dust.

Location is great that's why we went there. Everone that works there was friendly except the woman at the front counter that almost can ruin your day with her humbug attitude. Had I known how uncomfortable this place would feel, I would've stayed on the south side and drove. I think most places aren't like this. Bad experience and I usually don't do surverys, but this place was bad for me and I felt I had to share with anyone looking for a cheap room. Not worth it in my opinon. ...

Extremely reasonable for the area with a quiet and very clean room (other than the dog down the hall and
not the owner's dog which was outside- he was great). Reasonable location, although it was at the end of town rather than more centrally located. The decor is okay, but definitely dated back to the 60's. A hair dryer would have been a nice addition.

The hotel was just Ok. Too much noise from the street at night. Ice maker machine rarely had ice. Lots of things need to be updated. Well located and the room was clean.

Aside from friendly people working at the hotel, I have nothing good to say about it. It was dirty, smelly, uncomfortable and hasn't been updated in many years. The carpet was old and sticky. Wallpaper was pealing. The hallway to our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks judging by the amount of dog hair clumped the entire length of it. Great location but somebody needs to invest some money and elbow grease into this place.
