The Adolphus
The Adolphus
A baroque masterpiece opened in 1912, The Adolphus Dallas hotel ushered in a grand new era of sophisticated Dallas lodging. Amid such treasures as early Flemish tapestries and a Victorian Steinway once owned by the Guggenheims, you can recall the splendor of bygone days and almost feel the presence of the famous guests who stayed here before you. Once you are shown through the carriage doors, you may just feel like royalty yourself. ...

Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Adolphus
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(45) | Solo Traveler(23) | Traveling as Couple(99) | Family with Young Children(11) | Family with Teens(13) | Senior Traveler(3) | Group Traveler(2)

Beautifully appointed and gracious staff.
Needed more detailed cleaning. Living room couch was dusty and the bathroom lights and cabinets were dusty.

It was elegant and classy.
Even though I had paid through priceline, they double charged me for the room on arrival.

The hotel kept elements of the "old world" style in their decor--could imagine what it would have been like to stay there 100 years ago.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor of the hotel was great with "old world" charm but modern conveniences.

Not cookie cutter - I liked the "history" of the hotel and its furnishings.
Takes 15 minutes for hot water to reach the room but that is part of its charm.

My room was not at all clean with dirty side table and light bulbs not working.
