Upgraded on arrival and taken to our room straight away by the host. No long check in or fuss.

Hallways are not up to the standards of the rooms.

Small, personal, with a friendly but discreet vibe. Great for a romantic get-away, or a business traveler looking for an alternative to the cold and monotonous chain hotels. If you want to be in the middle of the crazy party/bar scene, there are plenty of small hotels along Ocean Drive, just a couple blocks away. But if you want to be close enough to experience a bit of that, but able to leave it behind for a more elegant experience (but still with a laid-back, south-beach vibe) the Angler is the place for you. ...read more

Location is good and staff is excellent.
Room can feel a bit cramped.

Excellent experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is an old hotel that has been well refurbished and is very comfortable. The rooms are pleasant and there is free wireless throughout. I was very pleasantly surprised.

They printed business cards with my name and the hotel room number. While in South beach you can reach me here.
Everything was great.

The hotel room was great for adult leisure fun. Second floor was at the top of a spiral stair case. In front of the room was a Jacuzzi which we tried out and loved it. The location was closed to everything in South Beach. My weekend was perfect.
