Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Back Bay Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 16, 2012

Location was perfect. Room was really comfortable. Beds were comfortable. I just waned to recommend this hotel to everybody. One thing made me upset was house keeping lady! She came in using spare card key. Even tough I put sign
Do not disturb" She didn't even apologize!
I should have told that to people at front desk, but I didn't.

Highly recommended if you prefer smaller, personable hotels. The rooms are small but well thought out and comfortable. Hotel staff just about the friendliest around.

Got a great deal on a very nice hotel. I felt a little out of place since I didn't have a tie on that everyone else seemed to have on. Regardless they treated me the same and maybe a little better. I even got tickets from the concierge at a cheaper rate than the people we sat next to. All in all I would have payed more money to stay where I did.

Dark and gloomy with "off" feeling.

The overall stay was great however there were some issues with the staff. The first person I spoke with at the front desk was very condescending and started to talk down to me. He was very snotty as I asked about why I had a different room then what I was told I would have through their reservations department. I had called right after I booked the room to see what kind of room I would have. The woman assured me that I had a double bed deluxe room which is exactly what I wanted. However upon check in I was told that I had a king room instead. When I questioned this the gentleman at the front desk became confrontational and rude. He however did throw in a roll away bed for the room at no extra charge.
