Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was very nice...comfy bed, spacious bathroom with separate shower/bathtub. The spa/salon was very nice, as well as the pools & jacuzzi on the roof.
There was a slight smell, possibly from pets? But it wasn't terrible.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location, right on the river downtown. The rooms are nice & spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. One of the better bathrooms I've seen, very spacious with a separate shower & bathtub. The salon and spa area was very nice, and not too unreasonably priced. The rooftop pools/jacuzzi looked awesome, although it was a bit too cold to try them out on this trip. ...read more

The pool and spa area on the roof of an adjacent building is stunning.
Parking is expensive and far away, necessitating a lot of waiting and tipping of valets. The staff seems to think they're doing you a huge favor by allowing you to stay there.

One of my main reasons for choosing this hotel over others in the area was the fireplace in the room. Then when I checked in, there wasn't one. It wasn't just that there wasn't one in my room, they don't have any in any of their rooms. I showed them my room confirmation which clearly listed 'fireplace' under the amenities and they just shrugged and said they had no idea why it said that. I don't think I'll ever stay at this hotel again, and I certainly won't be using priceline. ...read more

Front desk staff were really nice.
Valet was not very nice since we had to park our own motorcycles.

OK if you only like valet parking. Lobby was a little gaudy for my taste but clean.

I went to the spa for a massage for $100 and let my husband use the spa pass for a whirlpool. We were told NO. There was no one in the spa.

The front desk staff were the best. They gave my husband a spa pass and I had a massage with the 10% discount the staff also gave us. The spa was the best I have been in and we have traveled all over the country.

Convenience- walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants.
I was in a wedding party and my room was in a completely different part of the hotel than everyone else.

Clean, good service, conveniently located. Bedding is super comfy.

Lobby was very beautiful.
Dirty Room Service cart was left in hallway for 2 days.

Over all our stay was nice, however things were not available to us without an extra charge. Next time we plan to stay at the other Marriott property down the street.
