Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Beach Plaza Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to make sure that my parking decal was in my car because the locals were towing during a special event. If he hadn't, I certainly would have had problems...I'm so thankful!
I think there could have been more parking spots availible

Great location, directly across from the beach! Very close to Port Everglades...perfect for cruising.

Nothing.
The staff, the room...the staff kept telling us to check out before we even checked in. She was rude!

Don't book here under any circumstance.

location was nice. roaches and the toilet would not flush well
Although they refunded my money, they initially charged me an additional $10.00 per day above your approveed rate.

Although I was right across from the beach and had a nice rate, the housekeeping staff does not clean well at all. They did not take out the trash and did not clean the floors, used the same sheet pillow case, and burned hole comforter. Staff did not give me and inform me that I needed a parking pass. I almost got towed on the first night.

It's across from the beach
The room was old & smelt like mold. The bed comforter had discoloring I'm hoping from being bleached. I rented the room for two nights but only slept there once & that was only because it was way too late to knock on my relatives door. Nasty!

The first day I got to the room I had decided that I wasn't staying there! The room looked very old, it also had a slight wet or molding smell. I pulled the sheets back to inspect the bed because the comforter had discoloring from what I'm hoping is bleach! The bathroom had mold around the edge of the tub, the blinds in the bathroom were also missing pieces. I didn't even open the microwave or refrigerator! Like I stated before I wasn't going to stay there that night, but when I returned in the next afternoon the room was the same way I left it. Housekeeping, from what I believe, did not come in & clean! The sheets were still pulled back, there was a pillow still on the floor, I had placed a towel on the floor of the bathroom & it was still there...it was around 6pm! My mom worked housekeeping for many years at major hotel chains like the Hilton to even a Days Inn so I know for a fact housekeeping should have made a round by 6 & besides it isn't a big hotel! The best thing I can say about that place is that is right across from the beach other than that take it from me don't waste your time or money sometimes getting a bang for your buck isn't always the best. ...read more

Location of place was nice, right next beach.
Got there late morning around 2am, went to sleep.. Had a meeting in the morning and missed it because there was no water! Couldn't even brush my teth. There was Mold on shower everywhere! Not a good sign of clean..

Not bad location, nice view to the ocean. But not as clean as you'll wanted!

The location was great. The beach was directly across the street.
The bugs. Roaches. Filthy floor, bathroom, and counters. I spent half a day going to purchase bleach wipes, cleaners, towels, and a blanket. The lady at the front desk informed me immediately upon check-in that my money was non-refundable. For every day.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Indifferent owner, non-existent staff, and no towels, no cups, no clean sheets. It was disgusting.

Very dissappointing. The overall experience was the worst travel experience I've ever had.
The elevators did not work. Hallway were dirty with cigarette butts. The bathtub did not drain and the shower curtain was torn. The floors and counter tops were "sticky" and appeared dirty. Upon check in I found ladies panties behind the window curtain.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at any price. It is dangerously unhealthy.

The front desk person ( I think her name is Tasia, I may have spelled it wrong ) was very nice, helpful and courteous. I is a great asset to the hotel and very friendly. I highly recommend a raise for her for an outstanding job, she's very on hands.
The manager/owner was very, very rude. I reported her to a representative at Priceline. The phones, air-conditioners not working, filthy linen/carpet; a disaster. mold and mildew in windows. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worse enemy. rate it -0.

Travelers I have been in the resturanut business for 11 years but this was a bit too much. I don't say this lightly because it is right in the center of everything on A1A but the motel is not fit for children and infants especially. If you choose to stay, please bring your linen, towels and cellphone. The phone was off in my room when I tried to call front desk and air conditioner wasn't working. A total mess! The manager/owner is a beautful person, she just need to like herself and don't be on the defense to customers, " I complimented the front desk person and wasn't sure if the manager heard me so I offered to repeat it. " She says, YES I HEARD YOu, I'M NOT AS STUPID AS I LOOK. Like your self. God loves and so do I. ...read more

Location
Dirtiest hotel Iv ever stayed in.

They didn't know I was staying there. Room wasn't finished being cleaned. Never vacuumed or changed bedding for all 7 nights. Safe was not in the room eventhough I paid for one. Found a lizard in bathroom. Wifi didn't work. Tried to check immediately but they refused to give any money back.
