Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Beach Retreat & Lodge At Tahoe

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

My room was right by the lake.
TV service. See below.

Could have used more bedding. No extra blankets in room. TV service was awful. Stretched standard def images on HD screen do not make HD TV. Definitely not acceptable in today's market.

Location to the lake, fireplace, and cleanliness.
Thin and loud boards between floors. My room was on the bottom floor and I could hear every step (creaking boards) from the above occupant. This seriously needs to be fixed, as I will most likely not return because of this. I went to sleep at 2am.

Good value with the close proximity to the lake and warm and family environment. Make sure you get the top floor so that you don't have to hear the occupant above. Very noisy.

Nice location, pet friendly, clean, comfortable.
I thought that I was getting a lake view room, but that wasn't the case. It was very close to the beach.

This hotel had a cute, comfortable and clean interior with a fireplace. Parking was very convenient and the room had a nice patio. The grounds were well maintained. It was close to the beach and pier with dining.

Was close to the rental house we had in Bijou area.
Room dirty - found hairs in the bed. shower only - no bath, towels scratchy and old.

The hotel was right on the lake.
Staff ignored my request of the room even tho they had half of the rooms empty.

The hotel is located right on the lake, but the lady that was working when i arrived there was rude and did not give me the room,
I requested she didn't even acknowledged that
I am requesting a lake view room when

Location
It's very crowded during breakfast time. The AC for heat is super loud and makes the room very hot. The bed sheets seem not very clean.

The hotel is just on the lake side and has it private beach. Very nice view if you have a room face the lake. But it's very crowded during breakfast time. The AC for heat is super loud and makes the room very hot. The bed sheets seem not very clean.

Decent hotel with good lake view rooms, good staff, nice breakfast, overall worth the price.
1 microwave in a 100+ room hotel in the lobby can be too less sometimes.

We had a good time, nice location, good staff, accommodated our request of a lake view room. recommended to others.

Bad food, lousy TV, no fridge, cold

Stayed one night, decent place, cold room. Heater was broken or functioning poorly. It made a very loud noise and didnt warm up much or at all so I turned it off. No fridge, pretty dark room. Bathroom looked like a public restroom.
