Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Blake Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 30, 2013

Overall my stay at the hotel was very nice. The staff there was great and it all seemed so clean and modern. Some of the things that bothered me are lack of ice machines. I traveled up and down the hotel and could only locate 2 ice machines. Also it seems the higher up you go the scary it gets. When I was at the highest floor at any moment I was expecting to encounter something. It was not only because of contstructuon but also because the hotel seems deserted. There were 18 floors and I saw maybe 20 people. The hotel is great and extremely nice just very eery. Also the elevator sounds like a rocket launching and like It could break down at any time. Adding to the eery experience. I would strongly recommend this hotel on maybe a more crowded weekend or with a group of people. But alone or for a smaller group. Not so much ...

The room is beautiful and can be thoroughly enjoyed if you and whoever you're with is eating disordered and don't mind not having a refrigerator in the room. Sorry you caffeine addicts: no coffee maker either! The room was very clean and I liked the oldness of the rooms. The drain was clogged on my first shower and I have no hair at all - had to call front desk twice to have them snake the drain. The hotel staff seemed inattentive, but I don't really blame them. The actually room was what I wanted. Bring good company so you guys can crack jokes on how inadequate this hotel is. That said: I would still stay there again.

It was okay, it looks recently renovated and they tried really hard to make it look modern. I'd prefer a simple, fresh looking decor, I think it would seem cleaner. The fact that they charge $13/night for parking was my only major complaint though.
