Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Buttes, A Marriott Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This is my second time staying here and the best thing about this hotel is the pool area. It is wonderful for kids.
I hate paying the parking, but it is what it is. :( I didn't like paying for internet either.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.
We were placed in a handicapped accessible room and had a horrible shower experience. The water pressure was terrible and the shower head was difficult to maneuver. If the shower issue was fixed, our visit would have been perfect.

We are locals and like this hotel very much. Have spent time here for women's retreat in the summer and enjoyed our couples getaway this weekend very much.
We were disappointed that the lower priced restaurant was not opened for dinner. We were very pleased with the room service breakfast and food we ordered. The staff handled their high volume very well.

It's a dump!
Booked a deluxe resort view room with a patio and paid about $30 more for it. View was a brick wall in a corner with a very small patio. Complained to the desk about the view considering I paid more and he said all the resort views are on the walls.

Complained to the desk about the view considering I paid more and he said all the resort views are on the walls. Room is very dated and musty smelling. Would have stayed elsewhere and suggest you do. Cannot believe Marriott pushes this as a resort. Pool is the only nice thing there, but no towels out. Food is very overpriced. Bar has $13 plain 8oz hamburgers and $4 fountain drinks. Very very very disappointed. Also, they charge $10 for parking and give you a window tag. There is no control to their parking so don't pay the $10. Tell them you did not drive. ...read more

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.
It was pretty silly that they charged to park in their HUGE parking lot... not like it was a garage in a large city with limited space. Looked like it was a way to nickle and dime guests.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Everything was very nice but the charge to park in their Huge parking lot was pretty silly at best- at worst it was a way to nickle and dime their guests.

Oh my goodness. One of the prettiest hotels we've ever stayed in. It was like it had been built straight out of the mountain. Very elegant yet down to earth. We love comfort without stuffiness and this was definately our kind of hotel.
Only that the refreshment table kept running out of their yummy orange infused water. That was ok though because it just showed how popular and appreciated it was!

The room was spacious and the bed was soooo comfy. The shower was so nice my husband took pictures so we could do something like that at home when we start our remodel. The pool was lovely. There were waterfalls coming out of the rocks that seemed to be a part of the mountain it was built around. The kids got a kick out of a window that was below level. They could watch each other swim as if they were at an aquarium. The fitness center was great. Good machines, large flat screen tv, towels, fruit and water were all readily available. You have to pay for parking but you can also get valet parking for the same rate, so it's great to have that option. Restaurants and the lounge/bar area were also great and easily accessible. Can't say enough good things about it. ...read more
