Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Dupont Circle Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 6, 2013

The hotel was definitely a four star hotel. Décor was very nice. The bar offered happy hour prices between 4 and 6 pm. The hotel is very near the Phillips Art Gallery and numerous bars, restaurants and store. The beds were very comfortable. Its close location to the metro made all the tourist spots very accessible.

Though the hotel tried to make up for its mistake in a free breakfast, the beds were not comfortable, and not sleeping next to my wife was not how I invisioned the trip going.

This hotel is is an amazing location, within walking distance to sites including the White House, the National Mall, and the Smithsonian museums. It is within a couple of blocks of the metro, and there are several restaurants and shops within a few blocks. The room was very clean and modern, though slightly small (with more than two people would feel tight). The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom sink is open to the room, and shower and toilet are behind a shaded glass door- you cannot see in, but there isn't much privacy in terms of noise. Being right on Dupont circle does make it a little noisy, especially with traffic in the morning, but being on the sixth floor helped with this. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, and the public areas were well-kept and comfortable. There was no mini fridge, but there was a grocery store within about a 7-8 minute walk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a prime location for exploring D.C. ...

Very energetic & lively hotel that offered solitude as well. Great location. Metro stop across street. Room on the small side, but comfortable. End room on 8th floor had nice view & small window that opens in bathroom. Bar & cafe very vibrant with extensive cocktail menu. Cafe has great outdoor dining area. Grab a morning coffe from the Starbucks across the street & walk around Dupont Circle to hop on the Metro. ...

The Dupont Circle Hotel was a fun stay! It's right on the Circle, wonderfully located. Inside, the aesthetics are impeccably--and assertively--hip: lots of mirrored surfaces and ambient lighting, aromatic gender-neutral bath products, and stiff white sheets--i.e. your textbook example of the coldly sexy, supermodern, urbane hotel. While I enjoyed my stay, I have two bones to pick: First, they gave us a room with two double beds (instead of the room with a king-sized bed, which I had selected through Priceline). (My companion is 6'2" and is a bit too tall for a double) Second, the hotel concierge made fun of me when I asked him to recommend a place for dinner, "someplace nearby, low-key, but with good food." He laughed at me, and ridiculed my choice of words and lack of specificity to my boyfriend. (Just, like, cartoonishly sexist.) He then recommended a deeply mediocre Greek restaurant. I wouldn't be harping on this if it were based on this anecdote alone: I saw him perform the same condescending song-and-dance with two other people the next day as I was waiting for my car. Pretty bad. ...

Asked to be moved and they were able to give us an accessible room which was much larger and had a wooden door that locked.
