The Fairmont Copley is a beautiful, historic luxury hotel with top very accommodating, friendly staff. The room I had was very small but immaculate and well appointed. Top quality toiletries, comfortable bed, large closets and marble bath. Despite the downtown location and the fact that I was on the 2nd floor, I heard minimal street noise. Be aware, however, that it is not well suited for budget travelers. There is the usual over-priced mini-bar in the room, but no coffee pot or free coffee in the lobby. Internet access in the lobby is $5.00 for 10 minutes. Breakfast is very$, but lots of alternatives nearby.

Excellent, old, upscale hotel. Some rooms may be small, but that is expected. What we did not expect was the very poor quality of housekeeping. Recycling would not be removed, toilet paper was not always replaced, they never left additional soap, the room had dirt on the floor that had not been removed since the last occupants. Not acceptable for a hotel of this level. Otherwise, location is fantastic and the staff just wonderful. ...

I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Worth every penny. I did not want to leave the room, though, when I did the close proximity to Boston's best was fantastic. Beautifully romantic!
