Great location for our visit with friends on the upper east side; very roomy for the money, and for a hotel room in NYC; bed may have been one of the best hotel beds ever; the decor was great and the Upstairs restaurant had a nice ambiance.
When we checked out the concierge was a little condescending but not outright rude so it almost doesn't warrant mentioning, almost. She seemed quite bothered to perform a simple, brief task; and not at all thankful but that was all of 2 minutes so it didn

Great boutique hotel in a great location. Clean rooms, nice decor, rooftop lounge, comfy beds. I would stay here again.

Everything about The Kimberly Hotel was exceptional, our room, the staff, the location.
We loved everything!

Boy did we luck out with The Kimberly Hotel. It was an incredible priceline.com find! The hotel is beautifully apportioned with beautiful crystal chandelier, gold encrusted mirrors and Art Deco designs. Our room turned out to be a suite and we were able to have our New Years Eve party there because it had a fully stocked bar and kitchen. I arrived in the middle of an asthma attack and suffering from dehydration. The desk clerk immediately gave me a bottle of water and was very caring and concerned. The location was convenient to the subway and we were able to get a cab when we needed one even in the middle of the New Years Eve crush. Good restaurants and stores were a block away. the hotel room was a small suite. The amenities were great. The locations was in the area where we needed to be. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very polite. There was nothing we did not like about this hotel.

The hotel was more than adequate for our needs. Our daughter lives on 58th street and 2nd avenue so it was conveniently located. Just a short walk which we enjoyed. There was a MacDonald's around the corner so breakfast was inexpensive though there were more elaborate and expensive restaurants nearby.

Ask to not be on the second floor. It is in NY so it was very loud and there was not a sound machine to drown out the street traffic. They are also doing construction on the street so I woke up to people right outside my window and a drilling into my wa

I love this hotel. This was my third time there. I choose it when the rates are on the lower side. The room was fantastic. It was a suite. The hotel is clean, the room was on the 29th floor with a balcony. I just love this hotel. Can't say it enough.
