Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Kimberly Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location for our visit with friends on the upper east side; very roomy for the money, and for a hotel room in NYC; bed may have been one of the best hotel beds ever; the decor was great and the Upstairs restaurant had a nice ambiance.
When we checked out the concierge was a little condescending but not outright rude so it almost doesn't warrant mentioning, almost. She seemed quite bothered to perform a simple, brief task; and not at all thankful but that was all of 2 minutes so it didn

Great boutique hotel in a great location. Clean rooms, nice decor, rooftop lounge, comfy beds. I would stay here again.

I loved having a suite, so I could sleep in while my husband rose early to work out, watch TV etc.
I think the pool was not advertised correctly - the facility has an age requirement of +18, which didn't work for our needs. This should be clear.

location, cleanliness
They would not change our room to accommodate our 3rd person.

This hotel was wonderful except that they left us without a room for our entire party. I had to make other arrangements for my daughter. I originally put down that there were 3 people in our party when bidding on a room through Priceline. I don't know why they would have offered a room for only 2 people without any flexibility in adding a 3rd person. This was unclear to me when I accepted this offer. This situation really caused us a lot of stress and could have been disasterous if we could not have found a place for my daughter to stay. I won't use Priceline again or reccommend it because of this oversite/mistake. ...read more

the accommodations were amazing and the staff was so friendly

we stayed in a king suite which was awesome......there was a huge jacuzzi tub which was amazing.......this room was much bigger than I expected for a room in NYC, I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in Midtown, close to transit and close to shopping

large room
no restaurant

Lovely boutique hotel in a convenient mid-town location. The only thing it's lacking is a restaurant on site. However, there is a 24/7 diner right next door.

Great location, large beautiful rooms, friendly staff - great surprise in NYC.

The Kimberly really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very luxurious and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't think it could be beaten especially for the price!

I wish check in had been a little earlier.

I loved the hotel and the location. I would stay again given the opportunity and would happily recommend it to others.

Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Courteous and knowledgeable staff.
Rooftop lounge was run like a nightclub. We were unable to relax after a long day on the town.
