Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Kirkley Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Rooms were large enough to move around in and had comfortable beds. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.
No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Wonderful room, excellent bedding and bath amenities.
The only thing I would change is the shower head.

The very best hotel I have booked on Priceline. I highly recommend! We will travel to Lynchburg just to spend a weekend here!

There was either a one time party or a regular dance club, which in of itself was fine, but the parking was poor, not horrible, just poor.

The staff was very friendly.

The room was clean, spacious, & well appointed and the staff was very friendly and quick. No complaints at all and I would stay here again.

Rooms were large and nicely furnished. Mini-fridge, microwave and Starbucks Coffee in room. Very plush towels.

One of the nicer hotels I've stayed at in the Lynchburg, VA area.

Location. Room was large and updated.
When we pulled into the parking lot, I could not believe that the hotel was a three star. The hotel needs to be updated.

The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. Several staffers in the lobby at all times to greet us. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well-supplied. Towels were luxurious! Lobby area was so clean it shone. We will return!
The buffet breakfast was sub-par.

The outside of the hotel did not do it justice. The lobby was sparkling clean and the staff members were very friendly and accomodating. There were lovely arrangements of fresh flowers on the tables. Our room was very nice - comfortable beds and linens. The bathroom was very up-to-date. The oversized bath towels were thick and soft. The coffee maker made individual cups of STARBUCKS coffee. There also was tea available. The Kirkley was close to highways that easily led to Liberty University and downtown Lynchburg. We look forward to staying in this hotel again. ...read more

It is far and away the best hotel experience I've ever had.Not only was it beautiful, clean, great dining room, etc. BUT, I misplaced my diamond wedding band in the room and left without it.I was heartsick. They found it and overnighted to me. Enough said.
Wouldn't change a single thing!!!!

See above. This was the best hotel experience I've ever had.
