Hotel Guest Reviews of the Loews Madison Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 2, 2013

Overall, it was an acceptable location but I would look for other hotels in the future before going to Lowe Madison. I was disappointed at the front desk staff - specifically a gentleman who initially checked me in on 25th May - who thought it was acceptable to wait two hours for the rooms to be ready. He initially told me that it should be ready in 30 minutes; within next five minutes, it was an hour or so. I was not impressed with his customer service, especially at a highly rated hotel as Lowe Madison. I had to finally ask after waiting two hours about hte availability of two rooms. A female receptionist staff explained that one room was ready but second room was not - well, no one bother to tell us that one room was ready as we sat in front lobby within 10 feet from the check-in desk for two hours. ...

This to me was not a four and half star hotel. More like a four star. Service was average at best. Only one person to check in on a Friday evening so the wait was over 15 minutes. There seemed to be other people around but no one willing to step up and help move the line along. Rooms were not particularly large. Fitness center was okay.

The hotel is located a few blocks from the Metro station. We had several choices of quick service restaurants to choose from each day for breakfast & dinner on our way to & from the Metro. The rooms were immaculate & very luxurious. The staff was helpful & courteous. When I wanted extra K-cups or creamer or sweetener, all I had to do was leave a note in the morning, and it was all there when we returned each evening. The convenience of using the Metro made our sightseeing easily achieved. The only thing I'd recommend is to pay close attention to the landmarks when exiting the Metro because it was very easy to get turned around. I was very pleased with our stay at this hotel, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Priceline!! (I also appreciated the fact that the hotel staff didn't treat us any differently because we had used Priceline. That doesn't always happen at hotels.) ...
