Ridiculous to charge 14.95 for internet access. I hate being nickle and dimed.

Hotel was very good with exception of the internet access fee. It burns my butt and wouldn't return unless I couldn't find other accommodations. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due that fee. as a matter of principle. (If the room rate was up a few bucks more and internet service was free I would have been happier.. Instead I felt aggravated by the mode of operation.) FYI.. I didn't buy anything out of the mini-bar either with so much available within 100 yards of hotel. ...read more

The room was a nice size for NYC, and everything was clean and fresh. As soon as I unpacked, a staff member came and asked me if everything was okay, and was there anything she could do. Great service!
The only thing I didn't like was the $15 per day internet access, so I didn't use it.

The check-in was easy and quick. The hotel is close to Grand Central Terminal. There's a bar/restaurant in the hotel, so that was good. I had a room on the 31st floor, although not much of a view, it was high enough to be above the traffic noise. Had blackout curtains (fantastic).

Beautifully designed rooms. Love their waterfall showers. The staff is always very helpful and courteous. Would very much like to stay there again. :-)
So far there isn't anything that I don't like. :-)

The hotel has all the amenities a business traveler would require. Rooms are big for NYC hotels and internet connection is fast. I wish they have free wifi in the rooms but only the lobby has free wifi. I have stayed at Westin Grand Central several times and always have positive experience.

Lovely, fresh new decor. Every one was extremely friendly and helpful.
No complaints.

This is the former Hemsley Hotel, so the shuttle service and locals were not yet familiar with the new Westin name yet. This was not a problem since I had the address, but after I learned its former name, people knew of it. Very lovely hotel and right across the street from Grand Central Station. 2 short Subway stops from Times Square.

The staff was so helpful and nice! The cleanliness also was amazing!
There was a breeze coming through the window but other than that everything was awesome.

This place is a 10 all the way around! I travel quiteoften and I must say that I wi be back to this Westin. I recommend anyone to stay here.

that I could check in a 1 am and have a friendly face at the counter -- staff was excellent. And that I could get a cheesburger at that hour. I was exhausted -- and they satisfied all my needs
I would have liked shampoo and conditioner -- there was no conditioner.
