The "right" spot at the pool can be tricky because of the way the sun comes across, and there are no umbrellas, etc. If lounging around the pool is important to you, scope it out ahead of time.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are more like suites, very spacious, beautiful, and clean. I highly recommend staying at the Palazzo. It is located in a good area of the Las Vegas strip.

Beware of the $28 resort fee! Resort fee can be declined at check-in OR check-out, however they will try to stick it to you if you provide electronic signature during check-in. They'll claim the signature is for credit card incidentals, but they'll sneak in in without you realizing what your signing for. All the staff we talked to - the person who checked us in, the people cleaning the rooms, the waiters at restaurants located inside the hotel, bellhops, etc, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. This room was very clean and beautiful, and quite large. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was big enough for the four of us to share, which is hard to find in most hotels. I will definitely be staying here again next time I go to Vegas. ...
