Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Prince George Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Rooms was very nice. But I felt the price was still higher than 50 bucks more than I wanted to pay.
The room was on the third floor. Nice feature you could open the window for fresh air. Bad feature NOISY BAR in the street below could be heard even with the window SHUT till after 3AM. Not the hotels fault but disturbed a good sleep big time.

The hotel is centrally located in the city and directly connected to the Metro Center which is where we wanted to go for Stars on Ice.

the rooms was nice the front desk staff were very pretensious ,the house keeping staff were friendly, spoke to us .
They asked us at checking to bring them the parking slip for validation and did not say anything about parking at the hotel costing ,they charged an additional 23dollars for parking. Also the coffee maker was broken

Be aware that parking is an extra 23 dollars. And they allow dogs one very loud one barked in the middle lo the night.

Larger size rooms with 2 armchairs, beautiful pool/sauna area, free mini-fridge in the room
It didn't have a proper 'lounging' area - a cozy public area to hang out and read or drink a coffee. Also, the parking garage was too low for my vehicle.

Great location and friendly staff
Not really, it was perfect for our trip.

Hotel was clean, in a great location downtown, and the staff were so nice and helpful. It was a secure building in the night, and it was also very quiet. It was a fantastic hotel and I have already booked to stay there on my next trip to Halifax in a few weeks.

The location was great, the hotel was very ritzy, above what we are use to.

Without knowing Halifax well, I booked the hotel for New Years Eve. Our event location was right behind the hotel. The hotel was very classy, however, extras are charged for, no minibar in the room but bottled water in the room was $5 per bottle.Location was great, waterfront view, close to all of the downtown action in Halifax.

Location very convenient and indoor connectivity for all of my downtown meetings, great when it is cold or wet outside.
The room was smaller and less appointed than I expected at 4 stars. Internet was free but difficult to access.

Highly attentive staff is the best feature of the King George in Halifax. Conveniently located in the center of the downtown core, it connects via an indoor tunnel/bridge system to the convention center and all the major office and retail centers in downtown. A quiet and comfortable spot for business travelers, leisure travelers will enjoy the high levels of personal service and quality environment in a convenient location. Parking is off-site. ...read more
