This is a small boutique hotel in an older classic building. Rooms are somewhat smaller than other 4 star hotels, but nothing dated and appointed very well. Overall a great place to stay. The top ranking of this hotel is very well-deserved.

The staff was great, from the time the valet opened the car to when we left the next morning, our needs were met 100%

This is a GREAT place to stay, and the price was well worth it.

Classy, attractive room ... Great staff.
The room prices seem to have doubled since Marriott bought Raphael ... in past (recent) stays, I had larger, nicer rooms for MUCH less money.

Great location with free parking, walking distance to Country Club Plaza. Wonderful staff and classy, clean rooms.

The hotel has fabulous rooms. We were upgraded (without asking) to a junior suite. Clean rooms and the staff was very friendly without being over the top or insincere.
We loved everything about this hotel. We had a great experience and will stay there again the next time we are in the area.

The hotel is a boutique style hotel. It is very very clean. The staff is attentive and helpful and all are friendly. The room is comfortable and quiet. We heard no noise from the hall ways ever.The hotel is within walking distance to the plaza and shopping and restaurants. The hotel was probably the finest we have stayed in when we have been to KC.
