Everyone is wonderful at the Ritz! Never disappoints!

Hotel is conveniently located off Michigan Ave and has wonderful lakeview rooms. The only downside is that because of it's location, it is often congested with walking traffic and tourists. Must be constantly aware of your surroundings and pocketbook.

amazing location,next to water tower, rooms very nice, but a tad small for 5 star rating, service was excellent, if im being picky, no cofee maker and paper not delivered one day, but not a huge deal to me.
overall very nice hotel.

hotel overall excellent, would not recommend tea service here though, service was surprisingly ineffecient and the service itself was 3.5 stars at best, dissapointed with their tea service. Rest of the stay ok, no real complaints

The staff provided a room upgrade without my request.
Nothing exceptional stay.

I had a business meeting downtown and they offered the hotel limo to take me there with no fee. Outstanding service overall.

Experience didn't match the price.

I expected much more from this hotel. They said they would have "amenities" for my young daughter - they never arrived. The TV signal continuously cut out. Order room service and it was delivered 30 minutes later than estimated 35 minutes (some food was cold). Pre-programmed buttons on phone near the bed weren't programmed properly. Overall, I was very disappointed in paying too much for the room. I emailed customer service and still haven't heard from anyone over 1 week later. ...read more

Ingress and egress was a little difficult with 3 sets of elevators.
