Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to those who prefer staying out of the fray and just a bit away from all of the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. The rooms were more than spacious and the service accommodating and gracious. Loved Domenica's, the restaurant in the hotel. Everything couldn't have been nicer.

Very knowledgeable and helpful bell staff. Hotel is convenient to most things downtown, FQ, restaurants. Cabs are easy to catch from this location as well. Rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Great cocktail lounge and restaurant.

We specifically asked for a king room, non handicapped. The staff claimed to be up grain out room to a handicapped room. We didn't want that. They had nothing else. We were furious--we had to take that room or a doorbell hearing impaired room that had a fire alarm for a doorbell. The staff said because we booked on Priceline, that's the way it goes. You get what you get. I will never use Priceline again if we will be treated like second class citizens, and will never go to the Roosevelt to stay a night. Location is not the best and its only the lobby laughs that are grand--and those t free to anyone that walks through. ...

We will stay there again very soon.( Forget Cafe DuMonde... the Begnes at the Roosevelt are 10 times better )

The hotel is beautifully located off Canal Street and seems to be in a very secure location. The building and facilities are very nice. The employees are very friendly and efficient. The service available is at the luxury level. It is, however, a little pricey for all the extras.
