I liked the location, the view from our room and the lobby decor.
It's a little embarrassing to tell friends you're staying at the YMCA.
The hotel is in a great location. We spent little extra to have a room with a view, but it was worth it. We could see the light show on Victoria Harbor from our picture window. The concierge desk was very helpful in arranging tours, storing luggage, etc.

The location is close to a lot of the popular attractions (ie. Star Ferries, Light Show, SOGO, Nathan Street shopping, MTR...)
Seemingly a lot of construction going on but no visible workers.
Good value for your money considering the location, but somewhat let-down as far as star-rating goes (only because we came from 5-star hotels in China first). Most importantly though, it was clean.

Efficient, cooperative, helpful, economic location and drop off area.
Not enough counter space; need a warmer light and no exhaust in bathroom.
We had a pleasant stay. Staff is helpful, efficient. Excellent location.
