Couple
Lovely historic hotel, walking distance to everything Vancouver. Very gracious to both us and our pooch. Our room, in the newer annex, was quite comfortable with 2 large chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view from the ivy surrounded windows. Excellent and reasonably priced room service. Staff warm hearted.

Excellent location with a beautiful view of the English Bay. Perfect spot to run and hike/bike around Stanley Park.

Business Traveler
Sylvia is an old ( 1912) piece of Vancouver history located by English Bay; the lounge is quiet, relaxing with lovely view of Bay.

Family Traveling with Young Children
You cannot beat this location and the feel of this place. It has personality and I would way rather stay here than in an impersonal chain hotel! The cleaning staff is always thorough and helpful. They saved a bag for me that I had accidentally left at the hotel.
