I liked the location - but that smell!! changed rooms once and it wasn't much better. It would make me leary to do priceline again if this came up as my hotel!!

The location.
The common areas are very sparsely decorated and there was really only one large area.
It's a very old hotel that has been remodeled but the small size of the hallways and rooms leave no doubt of the buildings age. Although connected to a nice restaurant, there was no bar or lounge area. There was a common area to sit but this was sparsely decorated and not all that appealing.

I made this reservation knowing that this hotel had been around for a very long time, I believe from the 1880's. It is well kept, the staff very personable, the hotel inside and out very charming. The location is fantastic! I would go back.
You're steps away from the Hancock Building - great location for shopping and anywhere else you want to go in this area. A wonderful restaurant is right next door to The Tremont, and you have access to this restaurant from inside the hotel as well. I plan on staying at The Tremont again.

Parking was pricey and the rooms looked like it needed a make over. Also the size of the room was small along with the hotel elevator.

It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location is great!
It's an old building, so the halls etc are narrow. But I liked that, I like old buildings. It is well maintained.
