The customer service was wonderful. It was a top notch hotel with many luxuries.
The refrigerator in the room charged me for beverages simply b/c I picked them up and looked at them.

The bed, the bed, the bed. The lobby and dining areas are also lovely and inviting. The staff is all very friendly
The room was just a tab bit too small (1004), In the Presidential suite next door, the door was barking at all hours of day and night.

We have stayed at the Us Grant before and prefer it to any other hotel. The location is wonderful, the rooms and staff was great. The only things to improve upon is, that each time I have checked in after 3:00 p.m. My room is never ready and the parking is steep at 35.00 a night.

The property was beautiful, and the room was perfectly appointed.
There was no comfortable chair in the room.

From the friendly and professional front desk staff to the Oriental rugs in my room to the extra toiletries such as an emery board, to the comfortable bed, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. It has been some time since I stayed at a comparable property - I usually choose a 3.5 or 4 star hotel, and I was duly impressed.

Nothing.

This hotel is absolutely amazing and truly deserves the 5 Star rating it carries. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, the staff makes you feel special. The lobby is just breathtaking with its rich decor. The rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable.

I left items in my room and they were not returned.

Very nice hotel at great location, but the design is very old fashioned. The city of San Diego has a large homeless population.
