Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 20, 2013

The hotel is located in an area that has several restaurants to sui everyone's taste from coal fired pizza, steakhouses and sushi. The best tip I could offer to reduce cost while staying at the Colonnade is to refuse housekeeping to earn a coupon redeemable at the hotel's gift shop.

Seriously, the place was nice. The people were friendly. But there are always some people who find something to complain about. After 15 years managing restaurant and being in the hospitality business, take it from me, this place is firing on all cylinders! Nice job!

The hotel was very crowded when we arrived on a weekend as they have serious weddings being held in the hotel, guess they offer packages. Took a long time to get the valet car parked, also it took a while to get any service at all since the wedding people came and went till after midnight. The room was nice, large and had luxury bedding although the beds at the Westin can be very soft and hurt your back. Nice 32" flat screen TV sets. This Westin had a beautiful pool area that overlooked Coral gables with outdoor type loungers and couches, very cozy! One problem though..we noticed that from the pool area at night you can see straight into the surrounding rooms if the drapes are not drawn. (Can make you seriously blush if you dont look away..) so close your drapes people. 25$ a day to park plus 15$ a day for internet make sure you tak that on to your bill when making a descision where to stay. Area is great though , right downstairs is the Miracle Mile and close to the Grove and Key biscayne as well as Calle Ocho for yummy cuban cuisine at la carretta or versailles. Miami is certainly a beautiful city and this is a great base to see it all, if you can get it for a good price all the better. ...

Why stay at the beach before a cruise! This hotel is on the Miracle Mile, lots to do, lots of restaurants and the staff and rooms are awesome.

Cleanliness of the room was bad, hotel staff expected tips for everything, hotel restaurant was horrible for service and quality. Location of hotel is excellent.
