Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin Minneapolis
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

It's clearly a business traveler's hotel in a downtown area, so expect to pay for everything (wifi, parking is $34/night, restaurant isn't cheap, etc). But, if you can get a good price on the room, it's a very good night's sleep, the room is tastefully appointed (and seemingly updated), and the staff is very friendly. Plus, you're right down the street from the light rail, so it's incredibly easy to get around (and to/from the airport). ...

I told the hotel front desk about the poop stain on the chaise. The staff member was mortified, apologized, and when I returned from dinner, the chaise was clean. So that of course meant it could have been cleaned before I arrived! If housekeeping is going to ignore a poop stain, what else did they miss? I would love to tell you that this could have been chocolate or something else, but I am not new on this planet. I also expected that this level of hotel would have had a bottle of wine waiting for me, a bowl of fruit, or something along with an apology note-- after all, this was a very disgusting discovery. I suspect a nicer hotel would have even comped my entire stay. The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location, but if they are passing along e-coli, who cares?! ...

I would recommend the hotel and tell them that is parking across the street in a parking garage reasonable priced also there is a sky walk to hotel. Centrally located for Target Center, Guthrie Theater, State Theater and many other sites.

The room we had was super small. Great location. No place for two people to sit except on the bed. They had one old chair. Nice workout room. Definately not a 4 star!!!
