Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin Minneapolis

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff were super helpful. I had a bad taxi ride over and just because I was upset about it, the staff (Randy) comped me breakfast for 2 days. He didn't have to do that, but it sure improved my mood. Thanks!

Great location next to Arlington T stop.

the room was great. The shower and comfort of the bed were my favorites. I liked having good coffee in the room as well.
my window was 10 feet from another buildings window, though minor with the cost for the room and comfort of the overall hotel.

We needed a room for a good night's sleep, and the room was dark, quiet, and the bed and linens were amazing. A solid 9 hours of sleep in a hotel room is nearly unheard of, but this did the trick.
It's clearly a business traveler's hotel, so there is no wifi or any free anything, but when booking a 4 star that's usually what I expect.

It's clearly a business traveler's hotel in a downtown area, so expect to pay for everything (wifi, parking is $34/night, restaurant isn't cheap, etc). But, if you can get a good price on the room, it's a very good night's sleep, the room is tastefully appointed (and seemingly updated), and the staff is very friendly. Plus, you're right down the street from the light rail, so it's incredibly easy to get around (and to/from the airport). ...read more

Great location.
In addition to the bed, there was a chaise. The fabric was one easily washed down, as there was not a slip cover. There was a stain on the chaise that looked like poop, and it was located right where one's butt would be. It was disgusting.

I told the hotel front desk about the poop stain on the chaise. The staff member was mortified, apologized, and when I returned from dinner, the chaise was clean. So that of course meant it could have been cleaned before I arrived! If housekeeping is going to ignore a poop stain, what else did they miss? I would love to tell you that this could have been chocolate or something else, but I am not new on this planet. I also expected that this level of hotel would have had a bottle of wine waiting for me, a bowl of fruit, or something along with an apology note-- after all, this was a very disgusting discovery. I suspect a nicer hotel would have even comped my entire stay. The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location, but if they are passing along e-coli, who cares?! ...read more

Its location was centered for a variety of activities all within walking distance. Rooms were also excellent
We had a great time.

I would recommend the hotel and tell them that is parking across the street in a parking garage reasonable priced also there is a sky walk to hotel. Centrally located for Target Center, Guthrie Theater, State Theater and many other sites.

Super small. One old chair in the room. scratchy towels.

The room we had was super small. Great location. No place for two people to sit except on the bed. They had one old chair. Nice workout room. Definately not a 4 star!!!
