Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin New Orleans Canal Place
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 19, 2012

Location and views of the Misissippi River from lobby and some rooms. All elevators under repair during our stay. Waited as long as 20 minutes for an elevator and stuck in one for 15 minutes once. This is not a 4 star hotel in its current condition. Lobby Furniture EXTREMELY DATED AND THREADBARE IN SOME CASES!

Requested two beds when arrived late and I was accomodated. Enjoyed the coffee in room although only 1 cup on the 1st day.

Very elegant and classy appearance, but some of the facilities and mechanics are in transition - our sink clogged, the elevators were under repair and some parts of bathroom were a bit musty. But overall a great value for the location and spacious room layout.

The staff went out of their way to be friendly. I was self conscious about being alone, but they made me feel at home. The fresh fruit at breakfast was very good. I had a relaxing stay.

Very nice hotel, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about local activities/restaurants. The rooftop pool was a great aspect, but the pool area was unclean and towels were not stocked nearby.

The hotel is great, but the rooms are very simple for the price. Great city view though and perfect location for everything.
